Just for the record,
I finished this month my daily Disciplinam of ingesting at dinner a half tablespoon of the 500ml plain “Hemp Seed Oil” bottle I got last August. So, I decided to take a blood sample.
I did not (foolishly and unfortunately) take blood samples prior to starting ingesting it, so I cannot know, and say, what I “looked like” back then.
Anyway, since this Oil is so rich in Omegas, one of the consequences – if any – of my aim at experience reinforcing “my BioSystem” through this ingestion could - I think - be looked over the status of my Cholesterol levels (… Cat ?) given its correlation to Omega’s benefits.
As it goes, every October I have to undergo a mandatory “Health Check-Up” paid (and scrutinized!) by my Employer, during which, among several other exams, a blood sample is taken.
Way I thought was, so October 2013 I have “an entry checkpoint”, in August 2014 I started the Hemp Seed Oil intake, in October 2014 I have a “midpoint check” … so why not now, February 2015, at bottle’s end, do a “final checkpoint” ?
If I first thought it, I then did it.
Results of my February blood test came up today.
Now
During these 16 months (Oct 13-Feb15)I have not changed a thing in my diet habits besides taking in the Oil since last August. I smoked, drank, and ate what I usually smoke, drink and eat. Nothing more, nothing less, nothing different. Only difference was me gulping down, for over 6 months, at dinner, a half tablespoon of plain culinary “Hemp Seed Oil”. Period.
Below, I throw in the “Triglycerides” status because my wife tells me “it’s important” and hell, maybe it is, I don’t know better.
Comparing results and evolution of those markers, this is what it looks like :
Total Cholesterol (Oct 13) 180 (Oct 14) 179 ( Feb 15) 172
Cholesterol HDL (Oct 13) 41 (Oct 14) 46 (Feb 15) 47
Triglycerides (Oct 13) 167 (Oct 14) 118 (Feb 15) 128
(tried to present a "table" sheet like, but configurations just got worked over, so ended presenting it like this)
Far as I know, “HDL” is the “good cholesterol” and that is why I also mention it.
So,
What to think ? Seems it had a beneficial effect (them Triglycerides increased after decreasing, though) Or maybe these “fluctuations” are meaningless ?Afterall, total cholesterol diminished just 4,44 % (even if “good cholesterol” increased by 14,63%).
Whatever.
Just thought I should post this, FWIW, given what we all have been discussing here.
