Title says it all.
The purpose of this thread is to find out how to make it go away.

The state of play is: He stopped eating about 2 weeks ago, for no apparent reason.
He managed to tell me by means I shan't go into that he was having difficulty swallowing, but it's taken medical science a while to discover why.
Currently he is receiving cortico streroids, and has resumed eating, but the vets are now all out of ammo, and the needle beckons.

He tells me that he isn't suffering excessively, but isn't exactly comfortable either.

I realise that the odds are long, BUT, this is the age of the internet, we all seem to think that the cure has been suppressed, so by the same token let's try and unsuppress it.

I've already covered a great deal of ground over many years, and absent any unexpected extra useful input have a fair idea of what I shall be trying, but I'd like to give you lot a chance to shine.

What would YOU DO?

Fruitbat.

Angel hada similar tumor a few years ago. We loved him and privided nutritional support until it was time for him to go. He died at home. He would have been more traumatized by a trip to the vet. Rory died at home, in his sleep twi weeks ago. He didn't need the phenobarbital that the vet insisted on prescribing. It ended up killing him. I have no faith in Alameda East subce they sold out to VCA. They're just another coporate cog.

All the best to your companion pet.

My dog is like another child I have at home.
I look into her eyes and see the bottomless strenght of Love and Trust.
Unjudging.
Simply Present.

Take heart, FB.

I just bought another 2oz bottle and a 4oz for the house here for me and the cats. They are saying they can do wholesale prices if certain units are met, which I have yet to find out how many are needed to qualify. This medicine you give to your cat is also good for you, to me it is a no brainer.

I hope whatever you do, it works out for the best for both the cat and your family.

I am sorry to hear about Blackjack's suffering especially as I know the critter. I do not think I can answer the question as to what I might do. It is a judgement call in the end and in the absence of a 'cure' can only support you in whatever happens.

Fruitbat,

First, I empathize with you. I have been through what you are going through. Have stayed alongside and stroked their head and looked into eyes that felt pain but also comfort from your touch...gentle...loving....and stood by them in their last moments letting them know the bond and the love that existed and to let them know that as they stood by me in their life, I was their with them for what ever comfort it means.

Try the oil, you have nothing to lose and your friend has everything to gain.

If not, mix up organic maple syrup with aluminum free baking soda over heat but not to exceed 105 degrees Fahrenheit. Feed this to your cat. The baking soda will kill the cancer cells, if it is cancer, and the liver and the kidneys need to be functioning well to expel the waste.

I hope the best for your companion....Blackjack.

Now this is where I get a bit confused Luis 'cos the israelis (and others) say that it's THC that does the tumours in.
Currently he's getting a couple of drops of my super strong full spectrum DIY recreational grade oil which is somewhat diluted with olive oil to make it "squirtable" applied direct to tumour in the evening (well as close as I can manage without upsetting him too much) and a small drop in the morning used as a lubricant for his steriod pill.

As he gets more used to being high I intend to increase the evening dosage... Fortunately he isn't a "leaping" cat becuse it sure doesn't seem to help his physical co-ordination..

What I also do not understand, is if THC is a magic bullet against tumour growth, how come Bob Marley died of cancer?

Any more ideas are welcome. Particluarly dosage information. I'm also about to go and score some sodium bicarb, but again, I am not sure of a sensible dose, or how to make it palatable for him. In a way it's a blessing that we can see the growth, at least it will be obvious if it starts to recede, and of course being able to aply the experimental medicine initially topically and then have it also be swallowed gives us a better chance. If I could figure out a way of giving him laertrile I would...

To be honest, it's proving very, very, hard to be optimistic about the eventual outcome, but being able to put up a fight is very heartening, and if nothing else, at least it helps my morale, which has a directly beneficial effect for him. And although it's hard to be optimistic, beating the odds is something I am particularly good at. I am looking forwards to being surprised by the magnitude of our success in this matter however.

BTW, my interactions with the lavohsky people are not going well. Suddenly as soon as they realise I'm not a customer for the information (at about 50euros IIRC) but am actually trying to hire the machine itself (they claim to have three of the original machines in GWO) and put it to the test they don't seem to speak such good english... I'll deal with them later  .

Sorry FB, something is very confusing here ….

I have no idea where you got the idea that “THC does the tumours in” and that as much is also said by the Israelis.
Quite the opposite, really, is my understanding.

Meaning,
Very simply put - and from all that I’ve read - THC is used to quell pain, and CBD to fight tumours.
So much so, in fact, that the Israelis are (since less than a couple years ago) giving - at no cost - a CBD dominant medicine to their cancerous children.

Have I got all this wrong, or are you … very mistaken ?
(Your move)

Regarding Lakhovsky,
I’ve not pursued my research into today’s availability of his technology. Yes, those Italians claim to have found 3 original machines. They have a site about it and even photos of the machines.
Are they “serious” or do they even know what to do with them ? I have no idea. They claim to have “reverse engineered” and understood its functioning. Is this true ? Again, really, I have no idea. What have you asked them I know not, and their answers even less so.

But two things come to my mind : One, that to try and “purchase” one in Ebay as you said, well, wouldn’t definitely be my course of action, and Two, yes, everyone is out there looking for a fast buck so I better be prepared to deal with a “shake-down”.
Instead, first I would research, try to get referrals, cross check them, and only afterwards approach the “target” with my intentions .

Maybe you’ve done this, maybe you haven’t.

Far as I see it, a entrepreneur's outcome depends, mainly, on previous patient, boring and time consuming, “footwork”. Do it right, and you get something. Do it wrong, and you get something else. There are no easy shortcuts.

That said,
Keep heart with your cat.
And do what you have to do.
