The Gravitor Mark I

Postby Mikado14 » Mon Feb 03, 2014 6:06 pm

I thought I would post a photo that was taken of the first Gravitor. It was disguised as a spaceship from an older TV series. I posted it has an avatar on April 1st of 2009. I thought I would share it.

I am not sure if this is the photo being circulated by the late PeeTee or Linda Brown but it was fun to "dress" it up for April Fools Day. Can't remember if anyone noticed it or not.

Thanks for the peek btw Mikado, I missed it originally as I had not joined the hut until a month or more after. I know you have been posting on unhypnotize however I do not know if there is any information regarding your work with the gravitor, any updates to be read anywhere?

I seem to be missing a post here. Cracks in the wall..prisoner zero...figure that one out..<g>

Anywho, I will be posting a better photo of the Mark I as was completed as soon as I take it. My computer crashed awhile ago and I lost a good many photos. I am having my hard drive repaired and/or the data extracted.

The Mark II never had a photo taken and has since been disassembled. Currently, we are on the Mark III. This version is a grouping of 16. When completed, we should have enough to take the data sets and extrapolate equations for engineering purposes.

A good amount was learned from the first two that enabled the building of this version. The main thrust of our work is to be able to engineer the displacement (force) created by the Gravitor to do work.

Perhaps in a couple of months or so Josh. We'll see.

FYI. Never seen that picture before.
It owes a lot to the late and great Gerry Anderson...

FB.

P.S. have you tried putting the plates in series, and maybe (since it's essentially a set of capacitors), maybe just maybe they would lend themselves to being a part of a cockroft walton style voltage multiplier, which would allow you to put less resources into the PSU. I suppose I ought to build it and see if it works myself before suggesting it...

The construction of the Gravitors built have been done in both arrangements. There are distinct advantages and disadvantages to both parallel and series configurations.

In both configurations, the amount of displacement is cumulative provided the arrangement is axial.
