Glad to hear things are looking up, keep us posted please!

Tabitha does not really do much dominating anymore, she never really had to with Pretty. However I have to say I was sensing a shift in how much attention Pretty was seeking to how little Tabitha was. Tabitha had taken to finding her spot at the end of the bed as opposed to with me or on a pillow.

The only problem we ever had with not going in the box was when I was not properly treating Pretty for crystals in her urine, I forget the name. She would drag her butt along the floor and carpet, was not very pretty. Removing her from a grain loaded diet really helped this issue. I am thinking perhaps she does not like jumping in and out of the box on this slippery wood floor, I just put a towel down in front for traction and cushioning. We shall see.

I went to see my mom today, I took her a bottle of hemp and coconut oils. She surprisingly took the hemp oil when I asked her to try it and we both tried the coconut oil. We had a good but rough day, she is a mess. She does not recall what she was just giving me grief about and when I respond to her about it, she says I never said that. Yes, you just did but that is not the point or important. I am trying to help you, she thinks I am trying to control her.

She just wanted to complain and not do anything for herself. I am concerned the hemp and coconut oils will not be taken however I am going to remain optimistic. I know when to celebrate small victories and ever though today was rough, it ended well with her having taken some of both oils.

Soloma,
Get a Rosemary plant that you can grow indoors. The turpines have been noted to improve memory and are being used in clinical trials for Alzheimer's and dementia. Inhaling the aromatics may help you Mom.

"Why a whiff of rosemary DOES help you remember: Sniffing the herb can increase memory by 75%

• The Tudors believed rosemary had powers to enhance memory
• In Hamlet, Ophelia says ‘There’s rosemary that’s for remembrance’
• Researchers have found the oil helps alertness and arithmetic

Shakespeare was right in saying rosemary can improve your memory.

Researchers have found for the first time that essential oil from the herb when sniffed in advance enables people to remember to do things.

It could help patients take their medication on time, it is claimed, or even help the forgetful to post a birthday card.

In a series of tests rosemary essential oil from the herb increased the chances of remembering to do things in the future, by 60-75 per cent compared with people who had not been exposed to the oil.

Other studies have shown the oil increases alertness and enhances long-term memory.

Rosemary has been long been linked to memory, with the most famous literary reference found in Hamlet when Ophelia declares: ‘There’s rosemary, that’s for remembrance: pray, love, remember.’ It is used in modern-day herbal medicine as a mild painkiller and for migraines and digestive problems.

A team of psychologists at Northumbria University, Newcastle, tested the effects of essential oils from rosemary.

Dr Mark Moss, who will present the findings today at the British Psychology Society conference in Harrogate, said the benefit of aromas was becoming clear through scientific investigation.

He said ‘We wanted to build on our previous research that indicated rosemary aroma improved long-term memory and mental arithmetic.

‘In this study we focused on prospective memory, which involves the ability to remember events that will occur in the future and to remember to complete tasks at particular times. This is critical for everyday functioning, for example when someone needs to remember to post a birthday card or to take medication at a particular time.’

Rosemary essential oil was diffused in to a testing room by placing four drops on an aroma stream fan diffuser and switching this on five minutes before people entered the room.

Altogether 66 people took part in the study and were randomly allocated to either the rosemary-scented room or another room with no scent.

In each room participants completed a test designed to assess their prospective memory functions."

Fred, it is interesting you posted about Rosemary the day I actually took a rosemary plant among others along with the oils and fresh berries to my mother. I had no idea the smell could trigger memory, thanks for the information. There are quite a few more herbal supplements I would like my mother to try Mikado, ginko being one of them.

However the usual response I get to any thing I suggest is I just want her to do what I want her to do, my suggestions and overtures to help her are met as if the devil is offering help. Every day, she is progressively getting worse and the only person besides her who can help her is me and she treats me like she hates me. This is not just the disease, this has been a life long ongoing relationship issue we have. I will continue to try and help her regardless of past or current relationship woes, she is my mother and I love her.

Tabitha is doing great, Pretty seems to actually be suffering from the crystal in the urine thing again which I thought was under control from the no grain diet. Might have to put her back on the Purina diet for urinary tract health as much as I hate to do it, I know it helps her. I am doing fine, feel really great overall, even with my kidney/prostrate? issues.

Fred,
If I could expand upon the word ...MEMORY....without been accused of diverting this thread???????

Everything in creation only exists as long as it is within it's own unique memory envelope, which is torroidal and heart centred.
I took a few days out recently to simply walk about in nature, to re-charge My personal memory field , to think, to better REMEMBER.
The so called scent of the rosemary is millions of tiny envelopes of high charge memory that We can absorb, We are symbiotic to nature...not seperate.

Yes my good Hobbit friend! It's all in the patterns and vibrations if you will. The turpines of Rosemary open up the channels that are sometimes clogged with the 'noise' of other patterns that are inharmonious with the 'natural' state. How we live our lives, what we consume, all play a role in shaping us.

Traumatic experiences will disrupt the energy flows, and that causes stress, not only emotionally but physically as well. We all have heard of people who outwardly appear to be in great health and fitness who suddenly suffer a heart attack or stroke. Stress in their lives are the catalysts to these fatal results.

Meditation/prayer helps one get centered or balanced. Clearing the noise of the mind with soothing sounds, the birds chirping, the sounds of the surf or a waterfall, all are harmonies of nature that help sooth the Spirit and recharge the cosmic batteries.

What we consume, what we allow to invade us from others, all contribute to illness of one form or another. As Merlin turned away from Mordred, Mordred soon lost all the energy that was being 'sucked' up from others and soon faded away.

As is credited to the Cherokee:

"An old Cherokee chief was teaching his grandson about life...

"A fight is going on inside me," he said to the boy.
"It is a terrible fight and it is between two wolves.

"One is evil - he is anger, envy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, self-doubt, and ego.

"The other is good - he is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion, and faith.

"This same fight is going on inside you - and inside every other person, too."

The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather,
"Which wolf will win?"

The old chief simply replied,
"The one you feed."
"

May your days be blessed with enlightenment!

Thank you Hobbit and Fred, wonderful posts.

http://www.foxnews.com/world/2014/07/07 ... -meltdown/

So, could we raise out vibratory level to a degree that the radiation fallout could not affect us? Could techniques like the multi modalities used by Dr. Dharma Singh Khalsa such as meditation coupled with mudras and mantras, proper diet, exercise and herbal supplements a way we and maybe others we teach might see the other side of this?

Sure hope you all got your Johnny Tubes, you just might be needing one. Heaven help us.

Pretty has taken a positive step forward in her quality of life, she let me know she wanted some of my peach tonight, which she has not done for quite sometime. She also dove right into the food bowl, I picked her up the purina urinary tract food that helps her not dribble or drag. First bit of food I have seen her eat in days, she has been miserable.

I have had to keep her in my lap after giving her the oil, she had taken to spitting it out. Now however I just work her over with love while she swallows the oil, seems like it is working. Tabitha is still having allergy/resp issues, I have not gotten around to getting the ginger root oil. Other than that, she appears to be doing great, still stunned by the turn around.
