Funny thing about a comma, it provides a break in a sentence and a sentence usually stays on a thought unless separated with a but or some word differentiating a new thought or direction.

Notice in your post above. You made a complete sentence for each. Perhaps I should go back to English class and if it is as you state then you have my deepest apologies for misunderstanding you.

I have ADHS, as does my grandson. I have "brain on" experience in grasping the vagaries of such. I also had the advantage of several outstanding grammar teachers in grade school, as well as a demanding nursing instructor who refused to dismiss the class from clinicals until every student's charting met her rigorous standards.

Stress also affects how someone with ADHS expresses him/herself. Fruitbat has been under more than his share of stress with BJ's illness. Please give him a break.

I am minded to agree with Cat about this: It is not really a big deal about the use of English, FB's use is fine and so what if he makes the odd spelling error, he communicates far better than most.

Having observed FB and BJ together and the bond between them was close and I can appreciate that this is a tough time.

The ADHD gets you so far. I still have residual c-PTSD symptoms and it can take sometime to process if I am triggered into the 'Flight / Fight / Freeze". When in a heightened state of stress stuff happens. I have not fully mastered it yet.

Because of the polarising impact of the issues surrounding Linda, communication is going to be an uphill struggle for everyone, and keeping a foot in both camps is exceptionally difficult to do. Hats off to FB trying to find the Lagrange point, but I fear ultimately he will realise as so many before have found, it is not possible once you have been sucked into the Linda-Mikado Singularity.

OK. This thread was started humourously, however, the event alluded to has come to pass, and I have indeed judged you all.

Whilst individually, some of you have much that is good and likable, as a forum, my experience has been that this one sucks.
It seems dominated by a desire to vilify Linda Brown and lately by a desire to establish a silly controversy with myself.

There has been some cool hospitality extended towards myself by Mikado, for which I am very grateful, buunfortunately that has been balanced by a tendancy to read meanings into some of what I have written that simply was not intended, and always Mikado selects a meaning that would suggest that I was throwing his hospitality back in his face.

Now THIS is the post where I am rejecting that hospitality.

I'm not going to beat about the bush, between david's two-faces, hobbits nasty malevolence, and mikado's leaping to the worst interpretation at almost every turn, this site is on occasion (O.K., mostly) quite tiresome for me to participate in.

The occasional bit of information that arises, does not offer sufficient compensation to make it worth my continuing to participate.

Coming back after taking off a week to grieve for the loss of my little furry mate, I find a myriad of new questions to answer (or not as I choose), a flurry of new accusations and half truths, and it's just not worth the candle.

I judge this site to be a waste of my time and accordingly, this is my last visit.
