Yes, definitely an unnecessarily stinky snarl. I guess I just miss some people that I thought were at least online friends. And my shoulder is hurting like a "bad word, bad word" today, so I'm probably just extra touchy.

I asked last year if the forums were going to implode. I had a dream of a TrickFox wearing a blue sweater and surrounded by unfriendly spirits. It didn't occur to me until much later that the blue sweater was a message in itself.

Rose,

It would be the sane answer, but at present we are not in communication, and I am not expecting any, he decided that it was not a profitable enough friendship for him. I had been sowing those seeds, trying to do exactly what you were saying Rose, but it has sadly fallen on fallow ground.

Cat,

I dreamt of Raymond last night, it was in color, however, I find what you said curious. He was wearing a blue sport jacket, which I found unusual. There were two woman standing off and to either side of him but further back. He was very pale, smiled at me. The rest I will not go into. But the Blue is significant in that I believe he has found spirituality on the other side and is indicative of a positive relationship.

However, I tend to agree with you in regard to what you said about Electrogravitics and those working on anything. But bear in mind, what some are working on are not in the category and they are using a misnomer based upon many years of misrepresentation as is evident upon their own musings.

Rose et al, in regard to the fruitbat/wags dustup. Ask this question...out of both of them, who has had the must dust ups where the final outcome involved name calling etc? Out of the dustup, who openly attempted to lower the dust?

Wags, Your friendship was built over many years but you have both been wounded. Unless he has told you this in words, I would not be so quick to assume this is so. Seems to me that you are both trying to communicate, even if only indirectly via forum postings. Give yourselves time to heal and have faith that when you do, the relationship will, too.

Cat, should you be in such pain, this long after surgery?

ETA...why drag out the scales, Mikado? Does it help either of them?

Rose,

In my view, I am merely pointing out something. Look at how many individuals have had run-ins with either of them and look at how those run-ins were handled. I never once saw any name calling from one of the two whereas the other partook quite freely.

Were they both wounded?....absolutely

Will time heal the friendship?....time will tell (pithy answer I realize)...but only if it had any richness to it to begin with.

If I am wrong to point any of this out, I apologize but to me it is apparent. What I saw was a friend attempting to use the friendship to coerce another friend into doing "something". When it didn't work out in the manner that the first wanted then it became a matter of loyalty. True friends should never expect them to anything out of character. Ergo, in my world, they may only have had a one-sided friendship but then, that is just an empirical view. But then look at a certain individual and I. That was one-sided as long as I played along and kept blinders on. True friendships should value not only the commonality that existed at the beginning of the friendship but also the diversity that creates good conversation...sometimes referred to as respect.

Just my thoughts,

Mikado

As a side thought, look at the Conference I attended. Look at who was there and realize how one common friend amongst individuals can create such animosity but when that individual is removed from the equation, and the participants realize the truth, how the truth in friendship survives and is allowed to grow.

And one of those is someone Linda never thought would happen and I am sure that she will live to rue the day.

Mikado, I attach a different significance to the blue in my dream of Raymond. But the setting for my dream was also different. As to the work being done, I'm happy for anyone who is making progress.

Rose, I'm still in a lot of pain mostly because of the location of the surgery and the amount of damage. The tendon looked like a frayed rope, and the damage had been accumulating for a while. I haven't had what I would consider an adequate response from the surgeon, recently, regarding pain control. But I was overdue for a follow up with my pain specialist after the last round of injections in my back, so when I saw his PA, yesterday, she addressed that. The weather also was a problem yesterday. We had a lot of pressure changes, so my shoulder was really going off. Walking five miles all over Manitou on Saturday didn't help either. Every strike of the right foot translated to a shake to the right shoulder. Rowan had the same problem with her broken collarbone. On the plus side, my back has improved enough that I was able to do all that uphill walking. I couldn't have done it a year ago.

Mikado, Cat compared the dynamic to a traffic jam on the highway. A Demolition Derby seems to be a more apt description. If I counted all the names that some people have called other people in this thread alone, I would be busy a very long time.

Cat, glad you are feeling better today...
