Steve Clarke has JUDGED you all!

The Hypocritical actions of the Nickel Site that serve to substantiate the lying actions of Linda Brown (that would be the Cosmic Token so all can she how deranged Linda Brown can be)

The Resolute was supposed to be about discussing Brown's work and life. And science can be discussed, without having to disclose secrets. If questions are asked that require more disclosure than an individual is comfortable with, the answer can be given that the information is confidential. A respectful queen will accept that answer and move on. It's quite similar to maintaining patient confidentiality.

It would be the sane answer, but at present we are not in communication, and I am not expecting any, he decided that it was not a profitable enough friendship for him. I had been sowing those seeds, trying to do exactly what you were saying Rose, but it has sadly fallen on fallow ground.

Given that we are not in communication as you put it (although that isn't strictly true is it?) how can you possibly know what I am thinking?

If I spent my time here debating the various accusations that are made about me from all and sundry, which range from accurate to machiavellian lies, I wouldn't have time that I need for constructive activity, so as cat correctly pointed out, I choose not to.

I know I said a while back that I wouldn't come back here, and I do not expect to become a regular visitor again, but this seems to be the only place where I can follow how cats surgery has been going. I'm glad that it appears to have gone well, and I am adding my well wishes to what I am sure is an unstoppable tide of people who wish for you to make a speedy and full recovery.

I would caution some of the more inventive posters that if some one unconnected emotionally with either site were to take a dispassionate look at the conversations here, they will find a plethora of negative statements directed towards me for every one of my posts. Unlike Linda, who has a mission and therefore has to try and rebut the constant silly accusations, which makes it difficult for an onlooker to see the rights and wrongs perhaps, he'll have no such trouble seeing who are the aggressors as far as I am concerned. And for what gain?

I've been described as a "coward" by at least two of you, but those accusers folded like paper towels the moment I engaged in a bit of web repartee, when you last tried having a pop at me! I proved my point months ago, and whilst you might want a rematch, I never wanted the bloody conflict in the first place, and if coming here means I have to deal with that sort of guff, I'm sorry Mikado, whilst I appreciate the invitation, which I took as an attempt to build a bridge, I'm not going to do it. And to be fair Mikado, I don't think your losing much by it anyway.

I've taken employment where the job description said "engineer", and acquitted myself adequately in the work, is why Wags describes me as such BTW, Mikado. I might not fit your definition of engineer of course, but to be honest If you had all the facts you might find I am more "engineer" than you expect. Does it really matter?

Finally, and for reasons I can only guess at, Wags has described the music database project that we were engaged in together. It is entirely true that wags did all the work assembling the tunes into a large database, and weeding out duplications etc, whereas all I provided was my music collection for him to add to his own, and a little bit of techy help when his gear didn't work. He then goes on to read my mind and tell you that I do not value his database work as much as my own technical abilities! The truth is, I have not gained from his project in any way, excepting that I now have a copy of wags entire music database, on MP3 which I never get round to using, because I do not have the large sums of money that proved neccesary to acquire the hardware to make it work in the way I would want it to work. What you did worked well for you wags, it didn't work for me yet, and that's why it has limited value for me. OK? It's nobody's fault, its just how it turned out, so why don't you just concentrate on enjoying the benefits of our work, rather than complaining to a load of strangers that I am not respecting your achievement enough?

O.K. Lets recap the important bits: I'm glad cats shoulder seems to be progressing well, and watch what you write, because some of you are going to end up looking like right nasty minded plonkers if you don't.

fruitbat,

Your post speaks loud and clear about you. You are an opportunist. You are a dramatist. I tried to offer an open hand even after your arrogant attempt to disrupt the thread where anyone could have posted a tribute and to prove your arrogant elitist view of yourself you entitled the thread that you fixed it for me assuming it needed to be fixed in the first place.

I will not waste anymore time in attempting to offer any open hands. I would have better luck in removing the spots from a leopard.

And the manner in which you converse on a technical level only belies the fact that you are not an engineer. The title could be imbued upon anyone even someone who operates a train. It however appears that it hit a nerve....hope it didn't hurt too much.

I wish you well and I hope your bombastic approach affords you well in all your endeavours.

Now that I have said my thoughts how about this. You allowed two individuals to get to you to a point that you ran away. You could have just ignored them...what does that say about your character? I would have either rebutted or ignored but you gave them free rent in your head...and apparently you still are.

I wish you luck in all you do, sincerely...

FB,

You have the hardware required to make full use of the DB. It is a matter of accepting that a cable is required and making steady progress towards the final end project. I have not got all the hardware, I still do not have a dedicated music server / network HD, or a remote control device that I can read, I-pod is great as a remote but it is unreadable and also has its limitations. The concept of the Music DB was also as an 'insurance' policy against losing all your music. The Software skills I made it look easy but a lot of thought and work fixing both our Media Players and file structure was required. Most of your problems were related to PC Housekeeping and organisation and not the fault of Microsoft itself. Is it perfect no, that is inherent in all generic software, but the fault in not having a fully streaming hifi is not a matter of money, or lack of ability, (You actually can make silk out of a silk purse), it is a matter of application and from what I observed a cable. You have an exceptional music system, a comprehensive and properly catalogued music DB at 320mps, with the next stage being uncompressed when funds allowed us both to finance the requisite equipment. I have always used your system as a reference in relation to sound quality.

Your input on setup was when you were here once, over two years ago. The current setup is totally different as I have gone with how the system was designed using an I-Pod. It is true that my system has had money invested in it, but that is in part because I am not an engineer who can fix / maintain legacy equipment. I have made my choices based on my own stengths and weaknesses.

I raised the issue as I am thinking out loud and did feel unappreciated much the same as you are currently experiencing re 'engineer'. It is a suspicion that these skills were taken for granted, and it is not my problem that you failed to connect one cable, as the logical next step, I thought that was a hardware problem, so the DB is of no use to you because of a hardware problem. Once that is solved the Hardware (Your part of the project) have a fully functional DB (My Part) that will work on any system properly configured. The fact that your system is not working as you envisage is not my problem. We tried a few variations of streamers, and maybe I am not using them, but I do appreciate the input that you supplied, it was all useful, and so I ended up with a NAIM streamer that solved all my problems at a cost, but that does not diminish your input, it was part of that learning process. I have also learnt a great deal from the music servers and arrived at my solution and it was informed by your input that I do respect in regard to audio equipment. In any case this is only a small clue. I think that not taking on board anything that challenges Linda even though you are swamped in contradictory empirical evidence.

I guess only one of us can be right on Linda and I am not expecting you to admit even if you did reach the same conclusion this side of hell freezing over. I mean how can you repair the bridges that have been burnt defending someone who is living in 'Brant Space'. I will not under any circumstances encourage or conspire with that type of toxic behaviour.

Clarification:-

I have not quoted FB, I own the comments, and not has been read as 'putting words in my (FB) mouth'. My choice of words will reflect my current thinking and may turn out to be wrong. I am at a loss to know which statements FB is referring to. If you could point them out, I might be able to clarify any reasonable and specific instances that FB had on his mind.

What each person appears to have done that are 'survivors' from the Cosmic 'Toxin' have done is arrive at the same conclusions independently through a variety of emotional harmful ways, that many have recounted, all have one single common factor. What is that factor FB and what how has that factor changed you from say Three years ago? That is my observation and if you really know me, you will know that if nothing else it is said in good faith and for the common good.

Ha!

"silk out of a silk purse"

similar to "can make water out of ice"

Thinking is a fluid experience, creating and destroying at once....once I thought there was hope for moving forward to bring the work and life of Mr Brown to the masses, as we were some sort of team with a common goal...obviously her goal was more to occupy her sociopathic need for attention, and her pathological need to sow discord and lies amongst her supposed "crew".

The goal of bringing Browns work to the masses is a noble one...the hinderance of a too secretive daughter who wishes everyone to live through her stories and lies vicariously, is far too great an obstacle to surmount.

Steve once was a guy I enjoyed discussing stuff with, he made me think and rethink many times...I appreciate that effort to help me learn.

But now, I feel bad for him, as he has chosen a side, which is unsavory and sowing of discord at every level..and for what reason?

Maybe his return to clear headed thinking in the arena he so wishes to be a part of...can heal him before it is too late. Maybe not.

So, in passing thought, it seems Wags is right in how each victim of her has dealt with different forms of realization, all centered on a common point...LB is clearly a megalomaniac, bent on chasing away all who do less than lick her vile boots.

Hack away as you will Steve, forgiveness is always awaiting if you choose it.
