In my realm, your comment would be a slam in that as an engineer, which he fancies himself as with no educational background whatsoever and is very thankful of getting an equation for Coulomb's Law and a formula for deriving Capacitance which is something a technician with a modicum of physics should have, he is very good at reverse engineering but not at engineering.

That's me pretty much.....proud to be a chicken wire engineer as someone once said....math just escapes me...so true engineering as defined is about as far from my wheelhouse as the Sun from the Earth...

Things I have worked on are not always successful, nor do I always understand why they work or don't everytime...but a bit of heart....and duct tape...has always been my friend in the battle of mathless engineering.

The hardest part of coming to the realization is the realization of what a chump one has been. How one would defend her with your last breath because you took it as the truth. One would receive PM's from the various characters etc to reinforce the mythos.

...and the smell of the coffee wakes you up and you realize how much of an asshole you have been, how gullible you have been, it might be a feeling of being played upon and simply used and that you have weaknesses that allow the gullibility.

...and everyone smells a different blend of coffee but eventually, they smell it.

As to fruitbat, I think he is too proud to admit any gullibility but then, there are quite a few here that removed the shackles and simply admitted the weakness but have remained good individuals in that it has not hardened them.

The empirical evidence is against this as a viable scenario. The number of independent and self consistent 'episodes' suggests this is not the case. Also the number of instances of making 'special' allowances for unusual posting of alleged third party comments (Blue foe example), Myles posting from the same PC at the same location using the login of the admin. Total disregard for the consequence of having an alleged third party having access to PM's to name all provide corroborating evidence. I have only scratched the surface. Note these examples are not Mikado.

I see little restraint when it comes to justifying bad behaviour by pointing to perceived faults in others to justify behaviour designed only with the sole intent of causing upset in others. I feel 'used' and by this, and must say I have had to consider a much worse scenario than a Mikado/LB conspiracy. In the end 'A lie travels can travel half way round the world before the truth has got its boots on' {Churchill). But those boots are firmly on!

A lot fuss over an NDA! it is totally precautionary rational step for someone who has suffered a perceived 'betrayal of trust', and reflects a normal response to such an experience. Trust is the primary foundation of any project between humans. Hard to get, easy to lose.

The scenario I mentioned has occurred to me more than once over the course of several years. I didn't say it was viable. Just that it had occurred to me. There are two people, out of all the people I know, that I trust. At least in the adult population. One is my daughter. The other is Anastacia, my best friend from nursing school.

On another note, I had an interesting dream about Steve. If it comes to pass, I'll share details. If it doesn't, well then, it was just a dream, and not really important.

Oh, and anything of actual importance, more substantive than my reconstructive surgery or my grandkids, is discussed via pm. My public postings are mundane for good reason.
