I understand..Lady Linda deserves the best from me and I wouldn't intentionally do anything to hurt her in anyway...I respect what you yourself have said, I only caught part of the HC conversation, But, as I understood it you were on the verge of a breakthrew, or did so already..Congrats...I don't want to step on any toes,

I only hope to do as this board was origalnally planned and proceed with T.T.B.'s work..

Mr.Mikado,

I picked that word in pitcular (sorry sp), after much thought and consideration it was not a random choice..I must admit, sometimes I wish I would have went with Roses advice and practised on an easier one, however..I choose to jump in with both feet not realizing how hard it would be.. But, once committed to a job I will always try my best.

Just lately I have been thinking of something else completely different from above.. I don't remember the name of the man who did this experiment, however I'll give a brief overview, and I feel sure someone will know to whom I'm talking about..

It is my understanding that a man did a simple experiment of throwing a coin against a wall to chart the outcome, then he added a part. He tried to guess what the outcome would be before he tossed the coin..He found that he was slightly above the normal..with other tests thus providing us with the ideal that mankind has built in PSI ability...

I was thinging of doing this exsperiment myself, only on a smaller scale..at first just guessing, and then trying to feel the right outcome 1st..see if there is a difference in the two..as I have never tryed to use my ability to do this ( it's not really what I would call my fortay) however I thought it might be interesting to see the results..

Here is my Q. I'm going to use a roulette wheel as an example..let say we only use Red and Black as our base...Now I have heard experts say that no matter how many times it comes up ..say..Red..There is still only a 50-50 chance that it will come up Black on the next spin..

Now, I have a problem with this concept, because it can't come up red each and everytime..you see this correct..what I am getting at?

So, I wonder what I'm missing here ? If it comes up red say 10 times in a row, some odds somewhere, somehow says it must have a better chance at coming up black next time around..the way I see it something is missing..Mayby I have just never heard the answer, but common since says, after 10 times red, it has to eventually hit black and the more times it hits red the more percentage of chance it must become to hit black..

Can anyone explain what it is I'm missing here..I assure you I have no intention of going to Vagas ! LOL

I was just thinking ...well this experiment I want to do I call stuff like it 'for Sh1ts and giggles' just my saying for it's not that important.
I say this because I will have no other person to help, no one to confirm, and mayby no one but me even interested..however, I have never tried anything like this and I don't plan on throwing a coin 5,000 times, so for the sake of just me (us) what would be a realistic #..keeping in mind no paper will be written LOL and ect. would say 100 do?

And, before I start does anyone have any advise about how to do it, like charting or a spacific way of tossing the coin??

I was thinking of going about this in a 3 prong attack..the base #, then trying to use PSI to guess, then I thought that mayby I would use meditaion to see if I can improve the second results..

Also, I worrie, I may tend to try to do more than just guess the 1st time threw..any ideals how to stop that?? Remember I won't have a second person to help?

Hi Karen,

I believe ‘Beau’ Kitselman conducted and wrote about the experiment you’ve described.

I’m not the one to talk about ‘Odds’ though, for I’m embarrassed to have to admit that I failed the Monty Hall (Jimmy Buffett again!) three-door problem.

Kestrel tells me you may find this interesting <g>:

Hello Karen

Poor girl, you are re-discovering the notions behind "Baye's Theorem"! You little genius you..... You are definatly picking upon some important ideas Girl......

Have a look here: http://www.information-management.com/news/7484-1.html

Read this carefully because your roulette wheel comparison is also used in that article.

So after reading that article it's clear I've never played roulette, I didn't know about the 2 green ones..but very basically, if I'm reading it right.. the condition that it's still an even chance of being red or black is because after ...say 1,000 spins it evens out..

That makes since, but only in the long term, I still believe that 11 spin has a better chance than normal of being Black.. I hope I said that right..I know I'm thinking it correct I just hope it comes across that way.
