Kim, roasted Brussel sprouts are great, but I'm always looking for new ways to make them appealing to haters of "stinky little cabbages," so please share any good recipes you have.

Here is one. I hope you like it. Kim

Caramelized Brussel Sprouts

Ingredients

1 - brussel sprouts
1 clove - garlic
2 tbsp - olive oil
2 tbsp - brown sugar
1/4 cup - pecans
1 pinch - of sea salt

Directions

1 - slice sprouts till thin
2 - heat oil, then saute garlic for 30 secs
3 - add sprouts & continue for 4-5 minutes until tender
4 - add sea salt & brown sugar
5 - top off with nuts

You can add more brown sugar if you want more sweetness.

Well Rose,

I am always willing to try something new at least once; though in this case I suspect the results will be the same. I did eat those yucky little bugger once at a restaurant run by a very well known chef that I thought were ok, but even then it was not something I would have more than once in a blue moon. They looked good from a distance (another tables plate), so I gave them a try.

I will say, that there are very few foods that I do not like, but BS (hum was that a pun??? ) are one of the few that fall into the yuk category. Maybe because my mom made me eat them when I was a kid.. and she was not what I would call a very good cook....

I need to address this because apparently there is a misunderstanding here. Mikado has had an otherwise positive interaction with Fruitbat on the HUT. I applaud both of them for that.

Mikado however has recently stated something that I believe is untrue.

I don't know why he THINKS it is true . Thats what we need to address.

Is that what you are actually promoting here? Absolutely. She would say this in mixed company to discredit and not in public for to do so on a forum it stays there forever but a comment in a group setting can easily be explained away as if it was a misunderstanding.
