Emails from the Token

You know what wipe? If I didn't post then that is my business. I stated why. Your just a judgmental part of the genetic makeup of a mule and it ain't the horse.

HA !
But sorry Blei, will have to say “no”.
When up to it, I’d rather have fun with my dog than with you. She’s a lot smarter, and entertaining.

So, case closed from where I stand.
You’ve made it clear enough already.

Thanks.

Professionalism.
I appreciate it, whatever the circumstances or the "underlying data".

So, I could not see it and let it pass.
Kudos to you, as nowadays people express "Congratulations" or a simple "Well Done".

That "muppet show" is disgusting....mentally revolting, really.
You should leave it alone.

But hey ... you know the ropes better than I.

Funny how she has always said she can't see utubes. I guess she forgot here lol

We have all by now seen the Utube of the cat protecting her " housekid" from a biting dog that was ten times her size. She actually body blocked the dog. Amazing action! and then she chased him further.....doubling back only to check on the kid.

Wonder what kind of cat nip she eats? I see promotional big dollars here folks. Linda

I find it interesting in that the utube mentioned was on the front page of Yahoo yesterday. Linda comes home yesterday....(chuckle)...and today she mentions the utube from the front page of Yahoo.

Hasn't she been saying that she cannot see utubes? She has had ATT wireless for quite sometime, the bandwidth is there. Doesn't anyone get weary of the deception?

I still feel pity even though I don't want to.

"Pity" is for the meek.

There are those of the "Wrath".

Well Luis, (I seem to be starting out all my posts to you with those words) I don't know if I agree in this instance. What I have found in life, is that pity usually comes first, to act on that pity is compassion.

I felt pity once due to a plea, had compassion by acting on that plea and then was discarded like a spent prophylactic. It will not happen again. I suppose that compassion reverted to pity but I do not believe it is for the meek in this instance.

From the emails I have received as of this morning, I see that pity is still a good word. I also see that Linda has someone sending her emails of the posts here. Who am I to complain for there are three doing so in the past week in my email. What strikes me is that I only post a few of the more outrageous ones and frankly, if they didn't come, I wouldn't give a flying hajibby through a rolling donut. But the result of someone sending them to Linda is doing nothing more than feeding the obsession which is evident by the emails I am receiving. I believe they are deriving either pleasure from it or they want the precipice to fall on top and bury.

Yes, pity, I feel it is appropriate in this case.

I have been here and got this t-shirt! Why you are discarded is because the person you helped does not want to be reminded. It is a sort of back handed compliment. It is a real kick though.

Too “Kantian”, Wags.

As Immanuel was – perhaps – the first of the “bridge builders”, would you be so kind as too elaborate ?

“… pity usually comes first, to act on that pity is compassion”.

Well, Mikado (there you go)
I stand corrected. Thanks. Many.

The things one finds when not looking for them, is amazing.

Yes, you are a much better Man than I am. And I say this knowing perfectly well what I am talking about.

True, to Act on Pity is Compassion.
I tend to forget it, and only remember part of it - the Compassionate one. Because to me Pity is synonymous to Sorrow and I hate sorrow. I am not meek. Never was and never will be, I fear, and have had trouble from that ever since, for to me meekness is forever united with sorrowed Platonic’s acts. Or - better said - Omissions.
And that is why I belong to Wrath, or so I’ve been told. And also … “corrected”.

Now Compassion has a lot to do with Concern. Only the concerned can muster the will to be compassionate, and then Act.
But anyone can be Concerned without having been Sorrowful. And most of us feel just “sorrow” without ever, through it, reaching “compassion”.

Hope I'm making sense.

To understand Pity (sorrow) not as a sign of meekness but as the Reason to be Concerned (compassionate), and therefore a justification of the need to “Act” …. is a sign of a better man than I am.

Glad you showed it.
I will not forget it.

Thanks I am a proud 'Kantian'

Cannot at the moment Luis though over the years get the odd call (got a call from decades thanking me for helping them only last week!) Sometimes they do come back and say thanks, but it does not matter more concerned with my failures.

May I interject?

I believe it was stated elsewhere in here but I believe it to apropos to the topic.

Failure is knowledge. Knowledge has value. Value increases one's worth, not monetarily.

...musings..
