Mikado, I love you, but generally speaking, I do not discuss my reasons for choosing to correspond with "people", past or present who may or may not be sockpuppets.

Would y'all just go back to annoying each other and leave the rest of us in peace, please?

What time does that Berne bound bus arrive?

“How about this ?”

What about it ? Have you ever 5150ed anyone? I mean, are you a California peace officer or a designated county clinician, so as to go around and be able dish out “fifty-one-fifty” cases ?

Also - as you, Vigiliante Blei, must surely know - bizarre or eccentric behavior, even if it interferes with a person's normal intercourse with society, does not meet the grave disability criterion for deep-sixing a guy with involuntary psychiatric hold.

Sooo,
Do you then mean to tell that around these proceedings here, or herewith related to, you have found someone who, besides being a danger to him (her) and others,
(a) is incapacitated or rendered unable to carry out the transactions necessary for survival or otherwise provide for his/her basic needs of food, clothing or shelter,
(b) is helpless to fend for him(her)self or destroys his/her ability to meet those basic needs for survival,
(c) and lastly, but not in the least, is not receiving sufficient care by others (husband/wife, for instance) to survive ?

“How about this ?” - Hey, you’re stretching it… that’s what “how about that” !
And I’m putting it – very – mildly.

Meaning, try again …

Because it sure looks like maybe traffic cop speed or DUI ticketing is more along the lines of your (ahem) capabilities. Eh ?

PS : I never called anyone “nucking futs” or ever said “watching her rant as a sock puppet makes my day”.
Or even, for that matter, anything close to any of the preceding.

Seems you’re sleeping a lot during your vigils, you Vigilante you !

But hey …. why doesn’t that surprise me ?

Wags is an adept of Positivism, that philosophy of science that says information is derived from logical and mathematical treatments, the exclusive source of all authoritative knowledge, and that valid knowledge (truth) is only, yes, derived by these sources.

A true Auguste Comte son.

Thing is,
A German theoretical physicist, Werner Heisenberg (a Nobel laureate for the creation of quantum mechanics, go figure this imbecile !) distanced himself from all this positivism shite by saying:
"- The positivists have a simple solution: the world must be divided into that which we can say clearly, and the rest, which we had better pass over in silence. But can anyone conceive of a more pointless philosophy, seeing that what we can say clearly amounts to next to nothing? If we omitted all that is unclear we would probably be left with completely uninteresting and trivial tautologies.”

Yes, a true bullshiter, this Heisenberg guy. Then again, no wonder. Didn’t he appear as character inspiration on that “Breaking Bad” series (hell of a show, btw) ?

Okay…. maybe I’m being a bit harsh and Wags is a more “evolved” product, say, a “Neopositivist”.
These are more (ahem) educated and subliminal, and “just” reject metaphysical speculation while attempting to reduce statements and propositions to pure logic.

Thing is,
Strong critiques of this approach have been made by Average Joes such as Karl Popper, Willard Van Orman Quine and Thomas Kuhn.

So okay … maybe I should ease a bit still, eh ? and say Wags read all of this bullshite and has therefore graduated up to the “Postpositivism” (cough) tribe.

Well, these “post whatever” guys are more straightforward - they “just” generally eschew metaphysical concerns in favor of methodological debates concerning clarity, replicability, reliability and validity.

Damn, as if anyone truly understands these jokers.

Gonna light a cigarette.
Back is a sec …

Wags does not stand alone in this. In all my years of walking with a foot in each world, I have never yet learned how to 'mix medicines.' We need a new paradigm. Until we get it (and your contributions are very helpful to me, thank you) we have to use the tools we have, to the best of our ability.

Rose, I merely made a comment ("Rose, I find it truly unbelievable that you would go along with such a hoax. As if George would let a stranger live in the house while Linda was on vacation which has to be occurring due to the hours being posted.) based upon how you want accuracy and how you responded to sock puppets in the past based upon myself. If I have misunderstood you, merely based upon your past comments, I take back my comment about finding it unbelievable that you would go along with the hoax being perpetrated. I have no right to know your reasons. For all I know, you are merely gathering some hard data for a new book.

I may have been out of line, sorry.

See you on the bus,

Mikado

Actually, Mikado, I think it was something else you said that inspired that comment...but it's not worth rehashing.

But, speaking of books...how's yours going?

Keeping the story straight

Postby Mikado14 » Wed May 14, 2014 10:20 am

It appears that Linda and Myles should keep their stories straight. Received these emails this morning and it took me a while to stop laughing. This proves why one shouldn't lie, tough to remember all you have said.

I made the pertinent parts in bold

Re: Investigating Mikados actions

Finally getting the 'black mikados full of hot air" reference.

I see, said the blind man.

Linda tells me of a pup that she has with her now. He is apparently blind.

That condition would have earned him a long walk on a short pier with some breeders.

But Linda tells me that his life force is too strong. As long as it is there with the pup she is going to keep him well and with her.

She says that he reminds her of things that are important. To remind her of things that are really important.

I was impressed with that. You are right Hobbit. She is someone special.

She has named the dog Myles and I suggested that she use what I thought of earlier.

"Myles To Go". So when I retire and fade to the position where I belong in all of this, Perhaps she will put up a new picture of herself and the blind little dog that has the advantage of her love and attention. Mylestogo indeed.

And Fruitbat. Hobbits answer to you was a grand one. Ask Mikado.

Myles, Assistant to Linda Brown

And here is the kicker...

MESSAGES FROM MYLES

Griffin,
Linda wants you to know that when you figure this LinkedIn thing out that she too is going to need lessons!

Chuck,
She totally understands your plans for the future and realizes that its meant to be that you she and George are to be long term neighbors.

She told me that she wants to see your plans manifest themselves and she will help in any way that she can. After Thursday she will be at her post again. Until she isn't, of course.

Little blind dog and I have been visiting. He is just waiting for her to get home I think. Myles to Go indeed!

Myles, Assistant to Linda Brown

Let's see, is the dog with Linda or is the dog with Myles? Actually, BOTH!

I am sure there will be a plausible...explanation...there always is when ever she has been caught in the past.

Mikado
