Springtime in the Rockies

I had to abort my attemt at making my last nursing visit of the day. The roads were impassable due to rain and hail. I have to use four wheel drive to get home through the piles of hail on the street. It was almost like reliving last September. I was out on nursing visits that day too.

Oh, dear, that sounds like a wild ride. I'm glad you know how to drive in that mess and made it home in one piece.

I guess you don't want to hear that it was a glorious day here?

Glad you made it home okay. I hate driving in any kind of storm. One of my biggest phobias actually, so I try to do whatever I need to do before a storm. If I can't get it done, Mikado usually will help me out.

I suggested to the storm that it head for California. My basic response to the flooded intersection was "Ih! Hell no!"

Those hail stones form in the high reaches, forced up by the high ground ( rocky mountains)
You wouldn't actually have them rain down on sunny California...would You?
That would block out the light for those there, and leave them stuck in a bad light.
Tut,tut, naughty ( but funny) cat.
