Thank you all for your kind words and thoughts. My surgery, which was this past Monday, the 28th, went well. The Dr. Is confident he got all the cancer, and I have all the faith in him that he did. I will find out at my follow-up visit.
Now I am recuperating at home, and Mikado has been a saint. Lots of pain, which is to be expected, but I am dealing with it as best I can. Hopefully I will be up and around in the next week or so. Kim

Thanks Soloma and Dave for your kind posts.
Kim went to the emergency room on Tuesday morning. She appeared to be having some issues. The first was that she was under medicating herself. She was prescribed Percocet which has acetominaphen which she is not allowed to take due to her liver PCB. So Dr. Kim prescribed herself less of the pain killers and would also take some of mine at times. This resulted in her not having enough pain management of which the ER Dr. scolded her for...but in a nice way. The second more serious problem is that her bowel was either partially paralyzed or fully in one area. This was very painful and if I had more hair I wouldn't have it...<g>.
She is at home now and is fairing a bit better and I am looking forward to her getting up and around. I am getting tired of doing her chores...<g>

Somebidy made a big oops in giving her percocet. The pharmacy should have caught that.
The bowel problem is not uncommon after surgery, especially when opiate pain meds are involved. Should we take up a collection to buy you a case of Rogaine? Tell Kim that Nurse Cat says to get up and walk, and drink plenty of water.
