The Walking Dead

Postby StarCat » Sun Jul 06, 2014 7:00 pm

I've been watching Dead White and Blue weekend. I had never watched The Walking Dead before. Other than looking in the mirror before I'm really awake in the morning. Anyway, it got me thinking about the biological agents that are available. The ones we know about. I know Sarin canisters have been found at the old arsenal site. The old Lowry bombing range and the Lowry Superfund site are both out by Aurora Reservoir, which is our local drinking water supply. I try not to think about that. But what about the bio-agents we don't know about? Is the premise of The Walking Dead really all that far-fetched? I'm not sure. Opinions?

StarCat,
Is this that which You are on about?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Walkin ... (TV_series)

I watch very little television ( brainwashing) and don't know if it is screened here anyway?
The wiki description made Me laugh, as it talks about BITERS INFECTING people, and as Lindas BLUE has accused Me of been infected, I will keep a carefull note should I turn into a zombie.

This is a wonderfull alive planet, and those who would threaten it , or attempt to destroy it, are perhaps not from here???
I do wonder at times why the royals are termed as BLUE bloods???

Yes, that's what I'm on about. I haven't gotten far enough in to discover if the origin of the illness has been revealed, but it did get me thinking about biowarfare.

I don't think you're infected. I think you're just who you are. I think Fruitbat is just who he is. I wouldn't want the two of you seated next to each other at a formal dinner. Too easy access to cutlery.

I find this interesting from your link above:

High temperatures have not been routinely seen at the plant since the cooling system failed in the immediate aftermath of the meltdown in 2011.

I believe that is the first time I read where in simple words the affirmation of a meltdown in so few words has been written.
