1. Posting personal information about someone on the forum.
If anyone wants personal information out there, they can do so. And banning would be last. There would be at least one or two notices and the posts would be deleted. The only such time I would delete with the exception of #3.

If I go looking for his personal information and start posting it willy nilly, at which point will I be judged to have crossed the line?

Should have been written: If I was to behave like Kevin has, and decide to go looking for his personal information and start posting it willy nilly, at which point would I be judged to have crossed the line?

To make a "case" out of such a simple - and very evident - fact, means he has lost his nerve and given in to circumstancial emotion.

For nothing "private" was ever disclosed by he who simply mentioned its existence.

The private info originated via Nancy and was not really Netiquette and had been a source of grievance a very long time. FB is quite right to be aggrieved. I hope you can also appreciate the need to not lob grenades.
